    Tiger Sin Chew CECC 2024 Roars into Action

    HEINEKEN Malaysia recently unveiled the highly anticipated 2024 edition of the Tiger Sin Chew Chinese Education Charity Concert (Tiger Sin Chew CECC).

    In collaboration with Sin Chew Daily, this milestone event commemorates its 30th anniversary, symbolising three decades of impactful community engagement and educational advancement.

    Since its inception in 1994, the Tiger Sin Chew CECC has been a beacon of hope, raising over RM407 million for more than 540 schools nationwide.

    These funds have catalyzed significant transformations in educational infrastructure, enriching the learning environment and empowering future generations with enhanced facilities and technology.

    At the launch ceremony, Malaysia’s Deputy Education Minister, YB Tuan Wong Kah Woh, lauded the unwavering dedication of HEINEKEN Malaysia, Tiger Beer, and Sin Chew Daily to this noble cause. He emphasized the profound societal cohesion fostered by their collective efforts, transcending educational barriers and fostering a sense of unity and purpose.

    The 2024 edition promises an exciting evolution with the inclusion of trade partners, who will host Fundraiser Nights in local coffee shops and food courts nationwide. This collaborative initiative amplifies the spirit of community, complementing the 10 charity concerts scheduled from July to October.

    Managing Director of HEINEKEN Malaysia, Roland Bala, expressed the company’s enduring commitment to community welfare. He highlighted the synergy between the Tiger Sin Chew CECC and HEINEKEN Malaysia’s ethos of sustainability and community engagement.

    The event aims to raise RM15 million through ten concerts, benefiting 11 educational institutions across Malaysia. Each institution has identified specific projects, ranging from infrastructure upgrades to student support initiatives, reflecting the diverse educational needs of local communities.
